Boomerang Bay really has everything! We started out at Jackaroo Landing, A complete Australian adventure that lets kids discover a multi-level water fortress of eight family slides connected by bridges, passageways and rope ladders. Watch out for water jets and a huge bucket of water that tips when it fills to the top!
Lots of area for sitting while the kids play.
Didgeridoo Falls is a family waterslide that begins high atop a 54-foot platform and sends riders gliding through turns on a four-person raft.
Cabana Rentals at the lagoon! There are two cabana options to choose from. The Standard Cabanas offer amenities such as a semi-private covered area, two lounge chairs and poolside menu with locations at Boomerang Lagoon and Great Barrier Reef. Island Oasis Cabana, located by Great Barrier Reef Wave Pool, offers amenities such as a semi-private covered area, four lounge chairs, section for relaxation, poolside menu, kids corner, and flat screen TV. Such a cool idea if you are going to be at the park for the day. My kids could of easily spent all day at the water park, that alone is worth the price.
Boomerang Lagoon has a huge heated lagoon, with 150,000 gallons of water, Boomerang Lagoon is set in a tropical environment where families can swim, splash and float! I love that they make sure the kids have wrist bands to make sure they are with an adult if needed and they have life jackets readily available for everyone. Safety first!
Throughout the park you will find these awesome drink stations. My kids are obsessed with Icee's and on a hot day this was a real treat!
We also spent a ton of time at Planet Snoopy, which is a great area just for younger kids.
The rides in this section are great for toddlers and younger children. My son 3 and my daughter 7, were the perfect age for this section.
In the park you will find tons of delicious places to eat! Our favorite is the Ice cream topped Funnel cakes, seriously so good!
A HUGE plus to the park for having a Family Care Center. It was extremely hot when we when this day and the family care center had it all.
A quite room to nurse my newborn in privacy.
Highchairs, baby food and they even had refreshments for parents in the lobby.
Inside is also a large playroom for children that are lost at the park. Such a great idea and a friendly environment for a child to be in while they wait for their parents.
I couldn't believe my 3 year old went on a roller coaster! It was pretty exciting though because my first roller coaster was also at Great America when I was younger.
A few more rides on the Snoopy Side!
This ride was super fun!
We finished up the rides and then headed over to the games section. This space looking machines is a dryer! Yes, they are all over the park and for $5 you can have a warm dryer make you nice and warm after those water rides. Such a neat idea!
The park has an entire section dedicated to these carnival like games where you can win prizes. The kids enjoyed this before going to family movie night!
We ended the evening with the swings and carousel on our way out of the park. We could not of fit more into our day if we tried, it was a blast!
